…stopping me in my tracks at every turn.
…stopping me in my tracks at every turn.
So two weeks ago on a tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending an intimate Friendly Fires gig at none other than The Arts Club of Mayfair. Yes, wardrobe planning was high on the agenda and after much consideration I opted for what I feel was an appropriate mid-week outfit of a black mini skirt, Acne inspired black ankle boots, a long-sleeved white collared blouse with a pop of yellow Neon in the form of the most amazing (and wallet friendly) Zara necklace. But even though I was dancing alongside Ed Macfarlane with less than 100 other guests, the venue is what deserves mention.
Now, after a ten million pound refurb I had high hopes of this London establishment but no words can describe the style, class and history that it exudes. Set up in the 1800’s “The Club is instituted for the purpose of facilitating the social intercourse of those connected with, or interested in Art, Literature or Science” - but to be honest anywhere that has Tubereuse Diptyque candles burning in the bathrooms gets my seal of approval.
I feel it is time to mention my favourite London haunt on a friday come 5.30pm; The Anthologist on Gresham street. With not only fresh, funky and unique decor but also an impressive food and wine list to suit all budgets, it is no wonder the place is packed full of London’s trendiest suits and stylish women until late evening. The third bar from London based bar group Drake and Morgan, this bar is nothing short of amazing from impeccably upholstered furniture to tables laden with pots of basil. Check it out at www.theanthologistbar.co.uk.
Cannot get over how chic Michelle Williams is looking here in Louis Vuitton. Absolutely dying over her amazing Olympia Le-Tan book clutch, if i had a spare thousand pounds lying around, one of these babies would definitely be coming home to live in my closet!
A perfect sunday.
Can’t get enough of Mara Hoffman swimwear. The prints are incredible - so intricate and so on trend with pops of neon mixed with aztec.
With only a few months till it will be warm enough to hit the sea, i’ve been indulging in Yoga during my lunch breaks. Body is feeling truly refreshed and am hoping these pictures will sum up my first european summer.
Planet Blue always do the most creative and quirkly lookbooks. Absolutely dying over the model in their latest ‘Full Bloom’.

Marni at H&M. I’ve died and gone to heaven. Absolutely adore the commercial directed by Sofia Coppola and set in Marrakech. The collection hits stores on March 8.
I’ve always felt a little indifferent towards Alexa Chung. However, with the British Fashion Council appointing her as their latest BFC new young style ambassador, I feel i’m going to have to jump onboard the bandwagon. Alexa will be using this position to display British fashion talent to a global market and being a newly British resident myself, I will be sure to keep a keen eye on the style queen over the next few months.
